Celebrity nutrition and fitness expert JJ Virgin teaches clients how to lose weight and master their mindset so they can live healthier happier lives. In addition to her work with nutrition and fitness, JJ is also a business coach and founder of The Mindshare Summit. I had the privilege of managing the paid ads for both her business and summit. Sage Lavine is the CEO of Women Rocking Business, a consulting and coaching organization that has helped nearly 100,000 aspiring women entrepreneurs around the globe to build businesses that change the world. I had the privilege of working with Sage for years running a variety of ad campaigns & funnels on multiple platforms. I’ve contributed to her campaign strategy, spoken to her group coaching program members about the value of Instagram for business, and managed her YouTube & Instagram organic & paid ad strategy & creative direction.

Excerpt from our report on the ECL Launch:

“From $34,011.23 in ad spend, we captured 17,509 conversions which have resulted in 45 ECL sales thus far ($44,865 in revenue puts you 40% return positive from just the front end sales). Approximately 4,500 of the opt-ins were unique users. This puts the sales conversion rate right at 1% which is expected for a $997 offer on a webinar. Approximately 40% of the budget went towards cold traffic for this launch.”

Interesting Highlights from the launch

  • The Challenge, Butts in Seats, and Workshop Recipe ads had a lowest cost per sale than the Quiz.  Allocate more funds to these campaigns in future launches.
  • Surprisingly, the static creative ads are, overall, and especially for lead magnets, performing slightly better than the video ads but the difference is minimal.  The one exception was the Workshop Recipe video on IGS – Is the content or angle of this particular video different than the other videos you have recorded?
  • We recommend continuing to make use of segmented lists to create highly specialized look-a-like audiences.  This resulted in a lower cost per lead for cold traffic than traditional interest-based targeting.
  • For warm traffic, retargeting the engagement on your FB/IG pages had the highest cost per lead, in comparison, but it was still significantly lower than industry standard.  Continue posting content while tracking engagement in order to post similar content while responded to any public questions on posts as well. We can then retarget these users.
  • Creative-wise, users responded better to images of you on stage being a leader in or in a group surrounded by a community.  There were able to see these values in you that they aspire to.
  • Copy-wise, users responded better to copy of you telling a story of your struggles that overcame – because they can identify with this.
  • Assets for retargeting your warm audience can be shorter, simpler, more to the point, and do not need lots of context because they are engaged and committed to you already.  You do a great job of keeping users engaged during the launch.
  • 50% of users who completed the Quiz in Messenger that said they did not want the link to the Challenge still clicked it when it was sent “just in case they changed their mind.”

These products are notoriously hard to sell on Facebook but we successfully lowered their cost per sale while increasing ROI. I led the strategy behind multiple product funnels.
